The more than three decades of research in nucleic acid nanotechnology has led to the thrilling progress rationally designed structures and artificial molecular devices with programmable functions various applications. Nucleic acid–based aggregates feature precise recognition sequence programmability, versatility, as well marked biocompatibility, providing promising candidates for biomedical In this minireview, we summarize recent, successful efforts construct employ applications, including drug delivery, bioimaging, biosensing, cell analysis, combined cancer therapy. We also discuss remaining challenges opportunities field.
